My finished mashup (finally!)
The Youtube div sometimes doesn’t appear (it’s something to do with the pipe being accessed too often) and no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get the background of the list badge to go completely black, hence the white box around it!

I made this banner to put in the header section of my mashup.
The idea was to mimic the typeface used in the Game Of Thrones title sequence!
After a bit of hunting I found that Trajan Pro (an adobe-supplied typeface) is an
unmodified version of the one the show uses! I reworked it a bit and got something
quite similar, yay! I also added a gold gradient fill to give it a bit of a ‘royal’ aesthetic.

Decision!
After much thought I’ve decided to go with a mashup devoted to GAME OF THRONES! The show is an absolute favourite of mine. I’m going to incorporate a twitter search widget with mentions on the show, videos from the official youtube channel and maybe an rss feed of another fan blog? God knows there’s billions! Now for a name… Watch The Throne? No, that’s a Kanye album and he’s awful… The Throne? YES!

Rethink
After getting my feedback for the poster assignment I thought i’d modify my idea and build a mashup that’s a bit more focussed and feasible! I brainstormed for a bit and thought i’d do a fan-page type mashup, and have narrowed it down to either my favourite brands or favourite tv shows!
